Walking the straight and Narrow

It isn’t easy, and not without pain. When the mind and the heart disagree, and you sit down to rethink your dreams, your ambitions, your priorities. I know mine. And it isn’t about being a great designer, or living a comfortable life. At the end of the day, when you sit down and look back at what you have done, I don’t want to see a life all caught up with work, or ambition, or even the psuedo-noble notion of bettering mankind.

I am a simple person, or so I hope to be. Not one of lofty ambition. But when you see your dreams and your future ahead of you, slipping out of your grasp, I will not let go, and settle for a life of labour and hollow emptiness.

Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
1 John 3:18

The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

Philippians 2:1-4

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
